for a Healthier Tomorrow brought its message to the movies in
a summer 2002 campaign. Looking for a new outlet to tellt he
public that nursing is an exciting career choice, the coalitione
xpanded its outreach campaign to include advertisements in movie
theaters during May. May was chosen to honor Nurses Week, which
was May 6 through 12. The on-screen ad featured real-life nurses
from the coalition's print ad campaign, showcased the "Nursing.
It's Real. It's Life." tagline, and directed moviegoers
to the www.nursesource.org
Web site. Reaching more than 2.5 million moviegoers, the on-screen
ad appeared on 436 screens nationwide in the following major
markets: Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Baltimore, Dallas, Washington,
DC, Atlanta, Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco
and Boston. Coalition sponsor JWT Specialized Communications
created the ad and handled distribution. |
